I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable and the hotel facilities were well-appointed and convenient. The parking was ample and transportation options were easily accessible. The location was peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse in Stonehaven! The house was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, homey feel. The living area on the upper floor was our favorite, with its stunning view and abundance of natural light. The kitchen was well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. The spacious and clean bathrooms were a real treat. We especially appreciated the helpful recommendations from the hosts for local food and attractions. The location was perfect for exploring both the coast and Royal Deeside. Although we arrived in the dark and had a bit of trouble finding the turnoff, the host met us on the road to guide us in. Having a car is necessary to fully explore the area. we highly recommend this luxury hideaway as a base for your adventures!

We had some trouble finding the turnoff when we arrived in the dark, but the host came out to meet us, so it wasn't a major issue. It would have been more convenient if the fridge was working properly during warm weather, but the hosts provided small fridges as a temporary solution.
